- Which tools you use — to improve performance and fix bugs
Browser-Based Processing
This is a deliberate design choice. When you compress an image or merge a PDF, processing happens locally on your computer. Zero upload. Zero privacy risk for your files.

AI Processing
Our AI tools (Resume Builder, Cover Letter Writer, Interview Prep, Finance Advisor, Color Palettes) send your input to an AI language model to generate responses. Here's how it works:
- Your input is sent securely over HTTPS to our server
- Our server forwards it to an AI API to generate a response
- The response is returned to you — we do not store it
- We do not use your inputs to train any models
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate our tools and services
- To process payments and manage your Pro subscription
- To send product updates — only if you opted in
- To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- To fix bugs and improve tool performance
- To comply with legal obligations when required
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties. Full stop.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share only with essential providers:
- Stripe — payment processing only
- AI API provider — processes your AI tool inputs to generate responses
- Law enforcement — only when legally required with proper legal process
No advertising networks. No data brokers. No social media trackers.
Data Retention
- Account information — kept while your account is active
- AI inputs and outputs — not stored after your session ends
- Payment records — retained as required by law (typically 7 years)
- Rate limiting data — deleted automatically after 24 hours
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies — nothing more.
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in during your visit
- Preference cookie — remembers your settings
No advertising cookies. No tracking pixels. No third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in browser settings without losing core functionality.
